Music Team 2019
Welcome Lloyd MacLean, Chris Bowman & Friends
Lloyd MacLean serves as music director at Green Hill-Alma United, a small rural congregation in Pictou County, Nova Scotia, and is also organist and choir director at First Presbyterian Church in New Glasgow, NS. He was a member of the More Voices Development Team, is a former Music Editor for Gathering, (the periodical worship resource for the United Church of Canada), and is a Past Chair of Music United. Lloyd plays piano with Christian recording artists, the Common Cup Company. More recently, he has become keyboardist with the Full Circle Blues Band, and with his wife Gwen, holds down places in the lower string section of the Pictou County Community Orchestra. Always happy to be back at Camp, he has been involved in Berwick Camp music leadership for almost 10 years.
Christopher Bowman (M. Mus Memorial University, B. Mus Mount Allison University) enjoys making music in many forms – as a conductor, solo and choral singer, educator, and composer. He is full-time Minister of Music at First United Church in Truro, Nova Scotia, and Artistic Director of the Cantabile Society of Truro, where he conducts the Cantabile Singers and co-conducts the Cantabile Boys’ Choir and accompanies the Cantabile Impact!
Chris is excited to be coming back this year after a great experience last summer with his family, and to share his passion for collaborative music making with everyone.
